I am a Junior Researcher at the Genzel Lab with a background in Molecular Biology (BSc) and Cognitive Sciences (MSc), which I completed at the Institute for Cognitive and Brain Sciences (ICBS). During my master’s project, I investigated the role of the right dorsolateral prefrontal cortex in exploration-exploitation tradeoff using neurostimulation and computational modeling of behavioral data. I also gained experience in generative models of brain responses, utilizing Dynamic Causal Modeling for both fMRI and EEG analysis.
My current research focuses on the epileptiform activities in Alzheimer’s patients. I will be working with previously acquired clinical data from AD patients, with and without epileptic activity (EA), who have undergone functional MRI, EEG, and various memory tests. My work will involve implementing connectivity-based approaches on intrinsic brain networks to study the role of EA in Alzheimer's disease.
